CENTRE CLOSED 30th JULY

CENTRE CLOSED 30th of JULY 2024 – Please note that Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre will be closed on Tuesday the 30th of July for our scheduled zoo inspection. We will reopen on Wednesday the 31st of July from 10am – 5pm. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Happy 32nd Birthday to our beautiful European Eagl Happy 32nd Birthday to our beautiful European Eagle Owl Billie-Jean!! 🥳 Billie is one of our original birds having lived with Sadie since before Feathers and Fur even existed! She is by far our biggest bird but is a gentle giant 🧡 Don’t forget you can visit the centre to come and see Billie and all of our other beautiful birds. I wanted to give a massive shout out and thank you I wanted to give a massive shout out and thank you to Chantelle from @cape_bali for the amazing job she has done with our new logo on our uniforms. She is our neighbour here at @mossendgardenvillage and was wonderful in including us in every step such as colour matching the threads, getting the right sizes and really making sure the logo looked the best it could be (which is the best of the best!!). We can not recommend her enough and as an independent like ourselves please do get in touch the next time you need clothes printing or embroidery. Thank you xxxx

Join us this Good Friday and Easter Monday for our Join us this Good Friday and Easter Monday for our Easter activities including pellet dissection, meet the keeper and their favourite bird, egg and feather talks and our arts and crafts tables will be up all weekend for some lovely owl crafts in our classroom. See below for the talk timetable. 11am - Pellet Dissection 12noon - Meet the keeper and their favourite bird 1pm - Feather and Egg Talk 2pm - Pellet Dissection 3pm - Little and Large talk Your entrance ticket to the centre allows you entrance to the centre throughout the day. Entrance costs are : Adults - £4 Children - £2 Concessions - £3 No booking required. With lots of educational information about Birds of Prey the centre is a brilliant place to visit for all ages. Based within Moss End Garden Village, Bracknell, the centre has plenty of parking, a gift shop and cafe’s on site along with lots of other fabulous shops to visit.

Specially aimed at those aged 6yrs - 10yrs? The 1 Hour Educational Owl Hour allows you to get to know all of our owls here at the centre, a fabulous chance to look and touch real owl feathers, learn how they hunt and where they live, then get hands on with pellet dissection to see what was for dinner (grown ups can join in here too) and then you can hold one of our beautiful owls and pose for photos. All this for just £20. This 1 hour session included 🦉1 supervising adult included. 🦉All weather room if we have wet weather 🦉Hands on - you get to meet and hold one of our owls 🦉Great opportunity for photos 🦉Entrance to the centre included in the price Spaces are going quickly, so please head over to www.feathersandfur.co.uk to book your session. If your looking for something for the whole family then check out our Family Falconry Experience or the 2 Hour Session. All are available over the Easter holidays.
