Join us this year for Moss End Garden Villages open day on the 31st of August. We will be hosting a range of activities including Meeting the Harris Hawk Family, Owl Pellet dissection, Owl Talks and crafts. Your entrance ticket allows for unlimited access so you can pop back and forth throughout the day.
Throughout the day we will be holding a number of talks and activities.
10.30 – Come and see what the Owls had for dinner with the pellet dissection. Perfect for all ages.
11.30 – Owl Talk, Learn what makes owls so amazing from their hunting skills and adaptations to their amazing characters and wild cousins.
12.30- Feather and Egg talk, learn all about what makes birds feathers so perfect and how eggs are just the start of the story.
1.30pm – Meet our Harris Hawk Family, Mum Alice and kids Rossi and Milo, we promise there will be baby pictures!!!!
2.30pm – Come and see what the Owls had for dinner with the pellet dissection. Perfect for all ages.
3.30pm – Centre tour with the Falconer, come and listen to some of the wonderful stories about our birds.
4pm Close.
Along side the craft stalls from independent sellers, kids entertainment, food and the many wonderful shops here at Moss End Garden Village it promises to be a lovely day out.
