What’s on your doorstep? For Feathers and Fur Falc What’s on your doorstep? For Feathers and Fur Falconry we truly believe that its as important to know the wildlife on your door step as it is to know the glamorous flora and fauna that you would see on safari or in the rain forest. One of the ways we do this is to manage the flying field to attract as much wildlife as possible. One of the ways we do this is to have built habitats such as log piles, rough grassland, tin sheets, and a wildflower mound. Then each month we record the wildlife we see whilst on our sessions and flying birds. We do also work with the amazing Warfield Conservation group to survey the plants in the field too which is a wonderful session, it’s incredible to meet people that can identify the 100’s of types of grass!!!

Our Owl handling session allows you to witness up close the absolute perfection that is owls. How they have each uniquely adapted, how they hunt, what their personalities are and if owls truly are as wise as we believe. With prices from just £45 this is magic not to be missed. As well as owls Feathers and Fur Falconry offers a range of bird of prey and owl sessions which are relaxed and hands on with lots of chances to take photos and ask questions. All our hands on sessions are available as vouchers via our website or in person in our gift shop. 🦅 Prices start from just £45 🦉 Vouchers are valid for a whole year 🦅 Can be personalised 🦉 Available as both an E-voucher and a physical gift voucher 🦅 All vouchers include entrance into the centre. Based within Moss End Garden Village, Bracknell, the centre has plenty of parking, a gift shop and cafe’s on site along with lots of other fabulous shops to visit. We are open, Tuesday - Saturdays 10am - 5pm and Sundays 10am - 4pm and Bank Holiday Mondays. Entrance costs are : Adults - £4 Children - £2 Concessions - £3 No need to book to come and look around.
Home Education Owl Workshop spaces available at th Home Education Owl Workshop spaces available at the award winning Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre. We are hosting 2 workshops on the 11th of September at 10.30am and 2pm. These 1.5 hour sessions are open to children aged 6 - 16 years and are just £10 per child. Children will learn about how they have each uniquely adapted to their environment, how they hunt, what was for dinner, food chains, who’ hooting in your back garden, and how we can help. Topped off with the amazing opportunity to fly and handle one of our owls. 🦉1 supervising adult included with young siblings able to attend but not partake. 🦉All weather room if we have wet weather 🦉Hands on - you get to meet and hold one of our owls 🦉Great opportunity for photos 🦉Maximum group size is just 10 children 🦉Entrance to the centre included in the price The Owl workshops take place at Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre which is home to a beautiful collection of Hawks, Owls and Falcons. So far we have Talking Bird by Death Cab for cutie, Birds of a feathers by Billie Eilish, I’m like a bird by Nelly Furtado, 3 little birds by Bob Dylan. Can you help??? How many more can we add to her list!!!!
Calling all club leaders. Did you know we bring ou Calling all club leaders. Did you know we bring our beautiful Birds of Prey and Owls out to clubs such as Brownies and Scouts? These are fun, educational and memorable evenings allowing the kids to handle and fly our beautiful birds (dont worry the leaders get a go too!) whilst learning all about their wild cousins, habitats, diet and conservation. 🦉The birds are happy to fly inside which makes our visits a brilliant winter activity for those dark evenings. 🦅Birds are flown to children fist 🦉Lots of chances to take photos and ask questions 🦅Each child receives a entrance voucher to the falconry centre Please do drop us an email or pm if you would like some more information about our visits or would like to look at getting a date in the diary. Did you know that once you purchase entry into the award winning Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre you can use your receipt to come back and forth all day. So why not pop in to say good morning to the birds, then head to the other wonderful shops on site at Moss End Garden Village, including Jungle Reptiles, Your Home Your World, Mystical Stones, and Reef Keeper then pop in for some pottery painting at Top of the Pots, head to lunch at Il Cortile or a snack at the Biltong Emporium and browse the other wonderful shops before popping back to see our beautiful birds and take part in the quiz and read the self lead tour guide and see all the gifts in our amazing gift shop!
