Today was one of those days!!! Can you spot Gimli ???? He gave me a small heart attack and the customers an amazing flight!! Comment OWL if you can spot him!!

Have you ever heard an owl purring???

Tawny owls are known for that classic twit a twoo hoot but did you know they also make this amazing purring sound.

It’s a bonding noise, so it’s rare for us to hear in the wild as it’s often done between couples near nesting sites and if they spot you they will stop calling.

It’s so special to hear and Ash is calling a lot at the moment being an imprint he is calling at humans, so pop down to the centre to say hello and hear him purring.

Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre is home to a beautiful collection of Hawks, Owls and Falcons. With lots of educational information about Birds of Prey the centre is a brilliant place to visit for all ages. Based within Moss End Garden Village, Bracknell, the centre has plenty of parking, a gift shop and cafe’s on site along with lots of other fabulous shops to visit.

We are open, Tuesday- Saturdays 10am - 5pm and Sundays 10am - 4pm

Love thank you notes!!!! Amazing session with the 4th Priestwood Sea Scouts and this week we received these amazing thank you notes in the post. Thank you for taking the time to draw and write, it always means so much.

Are you interested in our birds visiting your club such as Brownies and Scouts? These are fun, educational and memorable evenings allowing the kids to handle and fly our beautiful birds (dont worry the leaders get a go too!) whilst learning all about their wild cousins, habitats, diet and conservation.

🦉The birds are happy to fly inside which makes our visits a brilliant winter activity for those dark evenings.
🦅Birds are flown to children fist
🦉Lots of chances to take photos and ask questions
🦅Each child receives a entrance voucher to the falconry centre

Many of our birds are imprints meaning they are reared around humans. The down side to this is that sometimes they like to be part of the conversation a little too much!!!! Luckily Maverick has quietened down with age. Do pop in this half term and say hello to him and the whole team, you should get a hoooo from Norman and a shout from Elvis too!!!!

Entry ALL DAY. Did you know that once you purchase entry into our award winning falconry centre you can use your receipt to come back and forth all day. So why not pop in to say good morning to the birds, then head to the other wonderful shops on site at Moss End Garden Village, including Jungle Reptiles, Your Home Your World, Mystical Stones, and Reef Keeper then pop in for some pottery painting at Top of the Pots, head to lunch at ilcortal and browse the other wonderful shops before popping back to see our beautiful birds and take part in the quiz and read the self lead tour guide and see all the gifts in our amazing gift shop!
No need to book in advance and plenty of parking at Moss End

Hands on Sessions include our popular Family Falconry Experience and for those Owl crazy kids then the Educational Owl Hour is perfect.
