This year Feathers and Fur Falconry is super pleased to present ‘Craig’s Calendar’. For those that have followed us for a while will know of Craig and his mum Ann, two of our very valued volunteers. Craig however has the super power of Autism and this super power shines bright in his amazing abilities and affinity with our stunning Birds of Prey.
Volunteering at the centre since 2019 one of Craigs big interests is taking photos of the Birds and this year we have decided to showcase in a calendar just a handful ( well 36 ) of these amazing photos. Each month shows 3 images of one of our birds along with Craig with the bird. The birds featured include Craigs favourites, Gimli the Snowy Owl, Mouse the Buzzard and his best friend Milo the Harris Hawk.
We are so proud of how far Craig has come since starting here at the centre and of everything he has achieved, including learning to fly the birds, prepare the food, eating lunch with us as a team, cutting the grass on the ride on mower and being around the general public all massive steps for Craig and as a result Ann is often in tears with pride!
Feathers and Fur Falconry has also chosen to donate 15% of the profits to Craigs chosen charity the National Autistic Society.
The Calendar price online is £10, with £3 postage and packing added.
Calendars are also available to purchase from our gift shop on site at the Falconry Centre for £10.
